It's also ideal for situations where creosote buildup is too thick for standard brushes to handle, but too delicate for stiff-bristle options. The Prostran bristles are tough on soot yet gentle enough to avoid damaging metal chimney pipes. This brush features a 3/4' loop on one end for pulling and a 3/8' Male NPT thread on the other, ensuring compatibility with a variety of brush rods. It works with 5SB-36048M 3/8' NPT rods, as well as 5SB-30624M rods when paired with a 5SB-36352M 1/4' NPT to 3/8' NPT adapter. For chimneys with 45-degree or sharper bends, we recommend using ProFlex rods and a female-to-female adapter for smooth operation.
